| MANUFACTURING PROCESS |
| |
| H.R. Slitting |
|
| The hot rolled sheets in coil form, which is the basic raw material, are slit in the required width on H.R. Slitter having rotary knives and then coiled back in different width of slit coils before being subjected to the Tube Mill. |
| |
| Tube Mill |
|
| Slit coils of suitable size and specification are fed to Pinch Roll and Flattener with the help of uncoiler followed by guide unit and profile rolls to form tube which is finally welded by high frequency welder. :

| End Facing |
|
| Black pipes are end faced for deburring the ends of pipes. |
| |
| Hydro Testing Machine |
|
| Pipes are tested as per specification to the required test pressure as per ISI. NDT sprayed pipes are tested for pressure leakage. If pipes have pressure leakage, the same will be rejected. | Threading Machine |
|
| After the above process depending on orders whether to supply as plain or threaded, pipes are threaded as per specification. |

| Galvanising |
|
| Pipes manufactured are dipped in degreasing tanks for removal of oil and grease and then rinsed in water tank. After this pipes are dipped in Pickling tank containing hydrochloric acid to remove rust and again rinsed in water. From here, pipes are dipped in flux tank containing ammonium zinc chloride and then dried in furnace. These chemically pre treated pipes are finally dipped in molten zinc bath for galvanizing. After removing pipes from the bath, outer and inner surface of pipes are steam blown to remove excess zinc for uniform coating and then passed through chromic passivation for increasing life of the coating. :
